A connector for connecting an external sensor is installed on the lower frame (operation side) of the mold clamping unit. Analog values (voltage and current) from external sensors, such as temperature control flow rate and mold pressure, can be captured via this connector, and the actual values can be monitored and recorded on the waveform display and logging screen. This application package enables higher quality control.
We were not able to ensure traceability of molded products.
A dedicated analog signal connector is provided on the molding machine frame for convenient connection, instead of in the control panel. Values input from external sensors are recorded as logging items, with peak values for each shot. By selecting an input item on the waveform screen, the data output by each sensor is drawn.

Quality control items such as in-mold pressure and temperature can be monitored and recorded on the operation screen by associating them with the logging of the molding machine, allowing for more accurate quality control. The system also makes it easy to capture analog signals on the molding machine side and convert them to numerical values after input, which has been troublesome in the past.
Analog signals from various sensors could be captured on the molding machine side and stored together with other logging data to establish traceability of the molded product.
If the sensor is capable of analog output, it can be read into the molding machine screen through a connector. If necessary, a 24 V power supply for sensors and amplifiers can be supplied.

External sensors and cables are to be prepared and connected by the customer.
