LCP is a resin with low viscosity, making it difficult to stabilize the weighing time. Increasing the number of strokes increases the weighing stroke and makes weighing unstable. To ensure stable mass production, the screw diameter must be increased, but this increases equipment costs.
LCP, a low-viscosity resin, is highly fluid, and the solid resin may slip in the cylinder during the melting process, causing voids and inconsistent metering times.
The XV screw focuses on this "slippage" and employs a design that suppresses slippage and ensures stable conveyance.
The XV screw is effective not only for LCP, but also for low-viscosity resins such as PA. With the development of automatic operation and AI, demand for products that use LCP, such as connectors, is increasing, and demands for increased productivity through increased take-up and reduced downtime are expected to grow stronger.
